AIEEE 2009 - About AIEEE Pattern and Results
AIEEE
AIEEE stands for All India Engineering Entrance Examination. CBSE organized this AIEEE in India for the various courses in engineering and architecture. If you want to take the admission in the few most prestigious and demanded institute that is National Institutes of Technology (NIT), you have to face this test. In the 3 hours test students are examined for physics, chemistry and mathematics. The marks and patter can be change every year like other entrance exams for example CAT. This exam is all India base exams and students are also rank as per the state position basis; these are called AIR (All India Rank) and SR (State Rank) respectively.
In the year of 2008 around 950000 students were registered for the examination. It contains and follows the syllabus of NCERT of class 11th and 12th standards. In the year 2008 examination patter of AIEEE is almost same with the IIT – JEE.

Timing for the examination (B.E/B.Tech): 9.30 am to 12.30 pm
For B.Arch./B from 2pm to 5 pm.
Application Forms
Application forms can be obtained from Syndicates Banks from all over India, Regional CBSE offices and from identified institutes from 5th of December 2008 to 5th January 2009.
